. I used my new 7 gypsy junque journal for this. ( bought from Starlitstudio on the web)
2. The top left button is really tarnished and has turned that beautiful teal green age spots. (I wish my age spots were that beautiful color.)
3. The bottom left button has original thread in it.
4. I used my new mini xyron to adhere the twill and the rick rack....wow does it ever work fast.
5. The rick rack and button in bottom corner are really a teal green blue.....not the blue color the camera took. I don't know how to change colors on my photo-ing.
The buttons were given me to me by my aunt. Her 76 year old neighbor gave her some buttons in a tin from her collection. It is one of those Christmas goose tins from years ago..so popular then...I will keep the buttons in there to remember her generosity.
I started doing gluebook pages this summer. I have 2 books done. I decided to start a new one and post to my gallery here on SCS. I happened on to the idea of a gluebook this summer while blog hopping. I would suggest if you want more information to google gluebook. It is basically an artist's creative journal to just create without judgment or perfection. Mine is made with paper, a glue stick (for the most part) and bits and pieces of "stuff".
Making a glue book is very therapeutic and fun.

Bev,
I've never heard of a glue book before your post. It seems like it could be your artistic diary - how fun. I love that page and the face that you used some buttons from the old tin - fun memory when you look at it again.

I've never heard of a gluebook, but I'm really happy you've found it to be theraputic and fun at the same time. I love this, Bev. It has a definite collage feel to it, which is a style I really think is pretty cool. Great work on this one, girl.
