Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Company C. I chose THIS PILLOW for inspiration. It also fits this week's Speedy's Friends Challenge.
I've been working non-stop for over 40 hours straight. I took a few hours to sleep VERY early this morning, but that was it. I finally looked at everyone this evening and said, "That's it! I've been working while everyone else had gone home after 8 hour shifts...I'm tired, need a shower and want to sleep. I went home, sat down to check my emails and decided to look at the challenge...BIG MISTAKE! I saw that pillow and this card popped into my head! So, I'm still awake! LOL
I used the designer paper, Jovial from Basic Grey as my background. It's FULL of poinsettias! And, I thought I'd slip in this nutcracker. I REALLY love nutcrackers...I have OVER 300. Only about 10 of them are from Germany...However, I LOVE ALL my nutcrackers.
I used the inverted Square Spellbinder for the layer behind the Nutcracker. I just slipped the cut layer one "inverted circle" in and it cut it to this rectangle. The Nutcracker was colored with Copics. I added Flower Soft for the hair and beard.
Finished card size: 5" square
Total time to complete: 28 minutes.

Happy Happy card................ I love your nutcracker. They are also a favorite of mine. I actually have a female nutcracker which are very rare. Bought when we lived at Bitburg AFB, Germany.
