This is my WWW Christmas Cowboy - nothing like what I thought it was going to be. This card just took on a life of its own as I worked on it, and I just went with the flow!
My cowboy, kept company by the beauty of nature on the trails surrounding him, and listening to the cattle lowing, remembers that first Christmas night and allows himself to recreate that scene again in his mind. He takes out his guitar, plucks the strings, and lets his heart swell with wonder as he sings softly into the night .....listen here:
This is not my song and no copyright infringement is intended - just used for inspiration - thank you, John Denver!!
I was inspired to try a step card after seeing one made by Christina, seen here: Joy to the World, TSC1029 by 4815162342 at Splitcoaststampers
but it took a few twists and turns and ended up being one sided. I had to resize the whole card to accommodate the MAN, then the idea came for the rugged mountains against a starry sky, with the trees in front. Thanks, Anne Ryan for the spritz I used on the nestied EMB wood layer behind the MAN!! Also used : white EP for the starry sky, clear EP to make the rugged mountains sparkle, the MS border punch, the branch punch, my nesties, ribbon, a glitter pen, and various coloring techniques. Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!!

Holy cow - this is such a wonderful card. I love the Hubba Hubba image anyway - but have never seen him in a scene like this and he looks so very cool! I love the night scene - it is GORGEOUS!

Sue I love the twinkling on top of those mountain peaks being made by all those shinning stars and how you mirrored those stars behind that there cowboy, and I love your trees. One amazing card.

Sue, ooops, I just saw your cowboy card, so forget my comment on your Asian card. Girl, you way, way, way outdid The Fruitcake. My goodness, that cowboy sure looks happy with his "manly" attire and that background. You really went "way out there" Sue and it appears my cowboy may have found greener pastures. Just remember, there are other cowboys out there waiting to be had!! I am truly impressed with all the work you put into this. TFS!
