This card was inspired by Candee Porter's "Cut Away Card" (see it here: Cut Away Card by candee porter at Splitcoaststampers. I wanted to make a "thinking of you" card for a young friend who loves stars, purple, and zebra print, and I thought that this type of layout would be perfect!!
The stars on the side of the card are stamped using the Stampin' Up Stampin' Around Sweet Stars roller wheel. I stamped it using ColorBox ink in Violet, then heat embossed it using a glittery embossing powder by Sparkle & Sprinkle in "Purple Daze" color on top of the ColorBox ink.
The "Thinking of you" was printed from the computer on white card stock. Star swirl stamp is from the $1 bin at AC Moore. Black star bling is from Michael's. I didn't have any ribbon that matched the colors I was using, so I ran my white ribbon over the ColorBox ink pad to get the right color I needed. It worked out pretty well, but being ColorBox it took FOREVER to dry!!!

Hi---It is Candee Porter---I sooo love what you did with
the Cut Away card---and love how you cut an indent in the fold side for your ribbon. Very nice card! :0)
