I was so intrigued by today's Free For All, which was to make any kind of card incorporating a flap somehow. I'd never made a flap card before, so I took a peek at the SCS tutorial for FLAP CARD and found it to be super easy.
Instead of using the suggested magnetic clasps (having nothing like this), I decided to make a string clasp closure using baker's twine instead.
This sweet bird image is from a Mark's Finest Papers stamp set called Speedy the Cat's Friends.
These cards will be perfect to use as enclosure cards when I send out prizes for the SCS October Gallery Comment Contest, which I am hosting this month, when it ends on October 31!! (Come join us!! New players are welcome any time.)

Oh, I love this Emily!!! I like the scalloped circle with the bird on it and the button to hold the thread!! Your card is so pretty inside too. Just wonderful!!
