Card size is A2. I cut and scored white cardstock for the card base. It is scored at the top so that the card opens from the bottom. A piece of Halloween paper was cut to cover the front of the card base. Before affixing the paper to the card base I embellished it with a cheddar yellow strip of cardstock punched with spider webs and an overlay of plaid ribbon with bow. The ribbon had tails at each end that were tucked around the edges of the Halloween paper and secured. The paper panel was then secured to the front of the card base.
I sponged a circle of cardstock with green and yellow inks and painted on shimmer paints. A black web and spider was stamped on the background when it was dry and the image was matted to a cheddar yellow cardstock scalloped circle. The spider is detailed using black and white gel pens. This completed image was positioned and popped off the front of the card.
The inside of the card contains the sentiment "Happy Halloween" and is adorned with a strip of the Halloween paper overlaying cheddar yellow cardstock punched with spider webs. A black punched spider is popped from the strip to complete the decoration.
I also made an envelope from heavy cover stock to compliment the card. It was decorated with shimmer paints and stamped with the web and spider.
