Playing today and trying to decide what to do for Christmas cards!! Used the wooden frame to block out the center of my card front when I used my EFolder so I could emboss my image in gold. Then I masked out all but the dove and used shimmery champagne to highlight, Thanks for looking!
**** The "technique I used was this - when making my "Sandwich for the cuttlebug, I used the big A plate, then instead of the bottom B plate, next I got an unfinished wood frame at M's with an oval opening - CENTER this BEHIND your CB folder with the cardstock in it - then cover with one B plate. This results in NO PRESSURE on the center of the CB folder and leaves it UN embossed!! Hope that helps!!

What's a wooden block? The things you SU demos think of! Beautiful image to emboss and then add that special glitter. This is one incredible card I must say.

Oh, I just found your gallery and what a treasure. This card is amazing, simple, yet sooooo elegant. Love the technique you used. I must go to M's and get one of the wooden frames you speak of and try this technique myself. TFS.
