Very simple Halloween card. Card base was cut and scored from black cardstock.
Image was stamped and hand colored using Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I fussy cut out the image so that it stood alone.
Three cardstock circles were cut out; a 3" yellow, a 3" red, and a 2.75" black. I adhered the colored image to the black circle and matted it on the red circle. Red ink was sponged on the black circle around the image to add depth. A couple of different yellow inks were also sponged on the yellow circle to add depth.
The yellow circle was affixed to the card base to represent the moon and then the matted image was added. Two bats punched from black cardstock were placed on the moon. Wah-lah...front is finished.
The inside of the card is white cardstock with the sentiment "Got Candy?" printed on it. It is embellished with a partial moon and bat.
I also made an envelope from heavy cover stock and decorated it with the same stamped image that I colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Ink was sponged around the image for more depth.
