I will confess to not loving this set. I'm not a big fan of the stiched look and I really hate the flat tulips that SU designs that look like a big awkward footprint. But I had an old card sample that I wanted to remake (I hate throwing stuff out), so I cut out the flower pot and the flowers and some of the leaves that I'd stamped. I loved Heather Rolin's card here:
and decided to CASE the layout. I used different colors, embossing folders and ribbon. But I love this card so much better than the original that I had taken apart. I stamped and cut another layer of flower and this one I cut into petals, sponging the edges. I layered these over the original flowers using foam tape.
I know the season is all wrong, but I think I'll tuck this away to use as one of my Mother's Day cards.
Finished card size is A6.
Technically this is NOT an SUO card as I did use a Cuttlebug EF, but you could duplicate this using a SU folder or texture plate and it would still be lovely.
