This is for the Hope You Can Cling Challenge. The challenge was to make your own flower. I've been making these fabric flowers for an attachment on my quilted tote bags, so I thought I would make a card using one with breast cancer fabric. I cut 5 squares which is 3X3, then pressed into triangles, then used a gathering stitch with a needle and thread to make the petals to form the flower. I used the hot glue gun to attach the large hot pink button to the center and used white wedding ribbon through the holes. I also used the hot glue gun to attach a 3D circle on the back of the button and then used another 3D circle to attach it to the card. I then traced the leaves from one of my quilt books onto green leafy fabric, cut out and glued to the GP white cs. I then used tacky tape for the stem and added a mint green ribbon. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon.
