This is for the Holiday ATC swap here on the boards. I created a set of 5 cards that all used vintage photography negatives as the focal. My mother sent me these negatives in a vintage "care package" and I immediately knew that with a little embellishment, they would be perfect for Halloween. All the images are of a family from rural Kansas taken during the 1920's...I hope they don't mind the creative license I took!
For this card, I kept the paper background neutral and added a harvest moon, a bat, a grinning jack o'lantern, and bat wings and a black rose to the image of a little girl, with the text "Give me some candy and no one gets hurt." I used a graphite pencil on the back of the negative to give her hair a little more definition. I also used an eyelet to attach "31" to the top of the card, just in case the Halloween connection wasn't clear enough, lol.
Phrase, wings, bat from lisasalteredart.
Moon, pumpkin, rose from itkupilli.
