Good Tuesday morning all and Semper Fi (Latin for Always Faithful) to the Marines....This card is destined for a young Marine in Afghanistan........his name is Kyler and he's been deployed since August. He works in the wonderful world of computer communications.......without computers we would be blind........our warfighters' lives depend on it.........my hats off to Kyler. Communication is our first line of defense.....
My card is a tongue in cheek reminder of what life was like before Bill Gates......we could still be using the first binary code which was actually Moorse Code. Just a tad bit slower then what we are using today !!
Check the Teapotters challenge today for the teapot that MotherMark has given us for inspiration and the FPO address to send Kyler our cards. Even if you've never played a teapot challenge before ......this one is personal to every American.
Kyler's mother brought his story to us and we owe her and all of his family a debt of gratitude for raising such an upstanding son !!
Pray for Peace..............

now...a manual typewriter I can relate to.....these dang computers are not my 'cup of tea' when they are not working....with the old typewriters, you could actually 'try' to fix yourself...lol...great card

Ah yes... that was communication in the "stone age" as we used to call it in the office. Love your patriotic card... that ribbon is fantastic! Kyler will get a kick out of this one!
