My Friend Jennifer's Birthday is October 26th. Her birthday is a big deal and she makes sure everyone at works knows it : ). I made her a paper chain countdown to put at her desk. I used Cricut Storybook for the base, Frame, and Birthday Girl. I used Doodle charms cupcake. Misc paper was used for the chain. I added 3 decorative clip ons (26, J, and Happy Birthday) using mini clothespins. Stamps: Stampin up Think Happy Thoughts and Misc letters and numbers. I used Stampin up 1 1/4" circle punch and scalloped punch.

When my girls were 4 & 5 years old we were planning a vacation to Disney World. Every day they were asking "Are we going TODAY?". It got very tiresome. So, at 100 days-till-Disney we sat down and made a paper chain for each of them. The questions stopped because they could see all the links yet. Then, when we got down to like 10 links...I was so excited I could hardly stand it! We now make chains for lots of things (retirement, birthdays, vacations, weddings). Thanks for bringing back a great memory!
BTW...Your chain is adorable
