Today's Queen is none other than a fellow North Carolinian cmsuto (Carla) whom I've had the pleasure of meeting. Carla is the sweetest young lady and is so, so talented. Her gallery is filled with total creative beauty from her very first post to her last. This was my inspiration: TLC252 Birdhouse Ornament by cmsuto at Splitcoaststampers Carla made a darling little 3d birdhouse. I also made a 3d birdhouse... mine is a real birdhouse. Ok, I'll admit I didn't make it today but pulled it from my stash of wooden projects. I have my own workshop where I sometimes make whimsical projects for kids. Now this little kittie is ready with open arms for the next little birdie who might fly by...
For the past several weeks I have been with family & my dear aunt whom I lost last week; and visiting my dear friend Rachel who was the destination station honoree in last week's Tea Pot Party. Rachel has pancreatic cancer and is now in the William Dunlap Hospice Center in Raleigh and has only a few days to live. I really haven't been in the mood to create cards so I hope you'll understand my posting a project I made some time ago. I do hope to catch up on challenges in the near future and make real cards for the Queens that I've missed.
Congrats to my friend Carla!!! Big Hugs!

Oh, Linda! I can't believe you took time out to post a project today! Your birdhouse is just wonderful! I am so sorry for the loss of your Aunt and also for the pain I know you are suffering seeing your friend, Rachel with a terminal illness. My heart goes out to you and I am keeping you, your family and Rachel in my prayers. Hugs, my friend. I hope to see you again soon.

My heart goes out to you. I have been there, done that and it ain't fun. Please take care of yourself. So glad you took sometime to load this very cute wooden birdhouse. So, you have a workshop? How cool. I use to cut wood projects out myself and tole paint on them. Another way relaxing thing to do. Love this one of yours. Super duper wonderful. TFS :0)

Linda, knowing how loosing family affects your life, and now that Rachel is in hospice care, I imagine your heart is very tender about now. Hope you can feel the hugs and prayers coming your direction. I love that you were able to post this adorable project to bless Carla. SCS is a beautiful place. Much love to you....
