I started by ripping apart the box that my new 8x8 Autumn Spice Album came in. I cut a 4x5-1/4 piece of the cardboard and then gently tore off the top layer to reveal the inside. I distressed by swiping my Early Espresso ink pad across the top. I call it Faux Burning! LOL...
From there, I added my die cut leaves, which were made with Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Garden Green cardstock, my Big Shot and the Leaves #2 die. After they were die cut, I soaked them with water, crinkled them up and then spread them back out to dry. They dried so perfect and crunchy! Then they got smooched with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz and layered onto the card. I added the Deck The Halls Designer Button and Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso and my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig onto Very Vanilla cs, layered it on Garden Green cs and added a scalloped strip of Cajun Craze cs highlighted with a 1/8" strip of More Mustard cs.

Oh my goodness, this is a true work of organic art Regina!! I absolutely LOVE it and I didn't know there was a SUO challenge started. Woo Hoo!! Regina, I'll be on and off the site for awhile due to family issues, but I will try to follow you as much as I can. I really like all your ideas and you always kill me with SUO cards as I have such a hard time doing those. Hugs! pam
