I made two cards for the Workshop Wow Challenge for September 8, 2010. Patty had us draw inspiration from cookies! I chose Ultimate Sugar Cookies. The "recipe" was to make a CAS card with mostly white/vanilla and use punches/dies.
The Scallop Border Punch has been around for a while, but it is pretty new to me, so I'm always looking to incorporate it in my designs. I like using it to hid the fact that I have trouble scoring my card bases in exactly the right spot. I am able to eliminate a lot of frustration that way.
After making the Spritzed Cookie card, I thought maybe there wasn't enough white space or punches, so I tried again and came up with the Spotlight card.

very pretty...love the "spotlight" but also like the scalloped border along the edge. Despite having a scoring tool, I also sometimes have that same problem with an accurate score and fold. Maybe the paper was cut crooked at the paper mill? ;-)
