This is my second ATC for the OPI swap here on the boards. The inspiration color I chose was "Moon Over Mumbai" and I made a layered acrylic card. I started with digital images of a woman in a sari and the moon, which I printed onto transparencies. I adhered the image of the woman to the front of the first piece of acrylic then layered over it a border cut from cardstock. I covered this layer with the second piece of acrylic and adhered the image of the moon to the front of the second piece. I used foil tape to connect the acrylic pieces on the bottom and put an eyelet near the top. Some strategically placed Glossy Accents also help keep it together. On the back of the piece, I adhered a piece of decorative paper that shows through both layers. Finally, I finished the piece with some fibers and a charm.
It was hard to capture in the photograph, but in person, there are "ghostly" layers to the piece...
