I'm really not much of a "picture taker" and have not gone to any exotic destinations lately. This photo was taken when I was visiting my dearest friend in her summer home in Bay Harbor, MI. From her deck there would be the most glorious sunsets every night! One evening I did run and grab my camera to try to capture its beauty. She also sails...reason for the sailboat. This card will go to her. Thanks Julia, for giving a challenge where I had to do something with this photo.

oh my gosh this is gorgeous. I have been there and tried to take pictures but you really captured the sunset perfectly. I love how you framed it with your card, and let the colors of the picture take center stage. The sailboats and lighthouse have just enough highlights to be a reflection of those last rays of the sun. Absolutely Beautiful.

Lovely card. It caught my eye the second I logged on to the gallery. Lake Michigan & LT Bay do have gorgeous sunsets. Your friend should be thrilled.
