| Here's how I made this quick card:
I cut a blue piece of paper for the matte dividing everything from the base card. Then I cut a piece of white paper and a piece of blue patterned paper and adhered them to the matte with a piece of ribbon covering where the 2 papers meet. Next, I cut out a blue and a white piece of paper with Nestabilities Dies and embossed the edges. I stamped the birthday hippo onto the white panel and a scrap piece of paper with blue embossing powder. I also colored it n with blue chalk and I used clear glitter glue on the bird and blue glitter glue on the dots in his birthday hat. Once the glue dried, I cut out the image from the scrap piece of paper and adhered it over the original image with pop dots. To finish off the card, I adhered these panels to the card and attached a bow with super glue. I also stamped the saying "Big Birthday Wishes" in the lower right corner with Versamark Watermark Ink and blue embossing powder. |
