I made this card for a very good friend. Using GKD paper, I blended Tim Holtz Distress inks. I cut out the image with Spellbinders Nestabilities. After embossing, I cut off the edge and placed on a die-cut black piece of CS. This gave me a border. I learned this technique at Gina K Designs, Stamp TV (http://stamptv.ning.com/video/layeri...lities-labels).
I used my Scor-Buddy to score 6 lines 1/8" apart in all 4 corners of a 4 x 4 inch square. I inked the edges with Distress Ink. I placed Bling on the scored CS and, using Dimensionals, I laid the die-cut image over the gemstones.
I stamped the message on "distressed" CS and stamping-off the butterfly image first, I stamped the image over the message. I die-cut the message, inked the border with Sakura Star Dust, added ribbon to a piece of CS and adhered it all to the card front.
