I got the basic idea for this card from Sharon Click (one of my Convention buddies!), who said she had seen it somewhere else. Sorry I can't give better credit! I did add a few of my own touches. For the bride heart, I embossed the card stock with a heart/swirl embossing folder (non SU). Then I painted Crystal Effects along the raised portions and sprinkled on Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I also added white brads for buttons.
I gave this card to my cousin and his bride for their wedding. After the fact, I realized that I should have switched the red for a dark purple to match their wedding colors. Oh, well. Thanks for looking!

very cute card...love the way you embossed the bride heart and used the glitter. I'm sure the happy couple never even thought twice about the red bowtie. Very cute, TFS! Jan

This is a great card,
I just finished making it but had to change a bunch of things.
A question first, did you use SU's single heart punch (large) in the big catty? It looks like it would be perfect.
I do not have that so I had to use a solid heart stamp and I embossed it in black and then in White irredescent emb powder. It turned out, but way to putzy not having that heart punch. I also embossed with the Baroque Motiffs stamp set SU.It looks good but I like your black swirls better. I find black emb powder is not very nice.

Diana - I did use the large heart punch from SU (just realized I forgot to include that on the supply list above!). I didn't even think about embossing the swirls; I just used black StazOn ink. I bet all the embossing on the hearts and swirls on your card looked great! Thanks for your comments!

Thank You for getting back to me.
I want to make more this card once I get the big heart. I do like your swirls too but where are they from? You said not SU I think.

This is a really pretty take on this card! I love the background you used, and the way you did the bow tie. I love the pearls, and I love all the swirls! I am going to CASE this one but with Paisleys, for my stepson's wedding. So pretty, thanks for sharing! Blessings, Lela
