Made this card for my sister-in-common-law's b'day.
She loves pigs.
Stamped the little peeking pig from VivaLasVegasStamps and then coloured with copics and cut him out leaving an area below him for adhesive. Then drew and coloured the cupcake, masked it and stamped the little foot. Cut that out and put the two together and reinforced the back with a piece of cardstock. Next I drew, coloured, cut out and layered the candle. Then I mounted it on to a folded piece and cut around everything to make the shape. I attatched the beads with crystal effects and made the sign with the tooth pick and punched a hole in the card front to stick it through, added the tinselly bits and then reinforced the back with more card stock to keep everything in place.
I had to use hot glue to keep the tinsel on the hat in place as well as the paper on the back holding the tinsel wrap on the cupcake in place.
First time for hot glue on a card.
That's what you get for using thick irregular embellishments I guess.
