Hi! This card was made for Three Challenges: Today's Technique Lover's Challenge: Tilt Card- (Both the butterfly and the top layer of the flower tilt!); Amber's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge: Texture-the bottom layer is dry embossed as is the butterfly; and Carolina's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge: All that Glitters-the flower is embossed in Gold and painted in with Pearlescent Watercolors and REALLY sparkle AND the Swarovski Crystals on the pins sparkle, too! It also fits Dawn's Winged Things Challenge!
I CASED myself today and used a layout that I used a week ago. I stamped the backgrounds with a new background set, and stamped the woven on the focal panel, too. Next, I sponged on the color on the butterfly. The flower was stamped in VersaMark and embossed in Gold. I colored it in with Pearlescent watercolors.
Both the flower and the butterfly were attached to pennies to cause them to tilt.
Finished Square card size: 5"x 5"
Total time to complete: 48 minutes
