Congrats to Latisha! We spent a couple of months together on the Dirty Dozen so I was lucky enough to get to know her a little and see her fun style in action. That being said, she does a lot of CAS and it looks terrific, but it's the hardest thing around for me to do. I chose herThinking of You to case. I kept the dog theme and colors, but used different images and layout. I liked the cloud dp but don't have any so I used a couple of cloud punches and a cloud die.
I'm using a couple of new releases. It's always heartbreaking when someone loses a pet and I hope this will comfort a grieving friend.
I stamped the little angel dog and the sentiment beneath him and used the Out of the Box Nestie Technique to die cut it w/ petite oval die. It's attached to a background I made by inking the brick embossing folder w/ the blue ink, embossing the white c/s, inking the folder again. turning the embossed c/s 90 degrees and embossing again.
I used the cloud die cut to trace and cut the cloud shape across the tops of the two panels. I used the corner punch on the lower edges of the card and inserted the edges. I layered and added all the little blue and white clouds. Stickles was added to the puppy's angel wings and Sparkle Soft (a glittery fluff like flower soft w/ glitter) added to the cloud.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Julie ~ What an adorable card, your little doggie is on cloud 9. Great clouds and love all the layers and nestie technique used in the corners! Had fun Thursday, lets do it again soon!

Wow, Julie. I was just looking at all the DTGD10 challenges and feeling overwhelmed, when I came back to the FS180 Gallery and spotted your card incorporating 4 challenges! Good for you! This is so sweet. Love the colors, the clouds, the little angel, and the sentiment. Super job--not only combining challenges but also in coming up with a beautiful card.
