I tried to make a Vintage card never made one before. Do you think it looks vintage or do I need to do something different to give it that feel.
The background paper I started out with with white I sponged it with Tim Holt Anitue Linen then ramble sponge tea dye around and distress the edge with the tea dye to. The I used my own handmade glimmer mist spray copper with a stencil.
The butterfly is embossed with Ranger Copper embossing powder. Then took a q-tip to color it in with middle I used antique linen then used broken chips.
Ribbon was a light cream color so I used tea dye and a sponge to get this color, after I had it sponge I made the sponge damp with some water an ran it over the ribbon to lighten up a little.

Beautifully done Gloria!! This is a great example of that really cool technique. Love your colors, love the background -- and it does have a vintage feel to it!! Great job!

Your background is totally amazing - wonderful effect with the shimmery stencilling. And the dyed ribbon is great. Those soft colours certainly give a vintage feel to me. I often distress my edges too on vintage cards, but I certainly don't think you need to change one single thing on this.
