I made this card at the end of the school year for the secrtary at the school where I substitute teach. She's a special person who is really great with the kids and has an untold amount of patience. She is into yoga so the inside of the card is the part that makes this card especially for her.
I cut the school house out using Cricut's "My World" cartridge, then drew in the details and colored it with markers and gel pens for depth. Then I layered it with dimensionals so there was a space behind the windows to give it more depth. I also used dimensionals on the steps and bushes. I used the Cricut cartridge "A Child's Year" to cut out the children's and dog's silhouettes and used dimensionals with them as well. I typed the "School's Out" on the computer and sponged in the sky. I stamped and colored the flag. The girl in the window is the secretary waving good bye to the children for the summer.
For the inside of the card I used the MFT set "Serenity Now!" (perfect for this card) I typed the phrases on my computer instead of stamping them because I reworded it slightly and wanted a different size font.

What a perfect card!! As someone who has worked in a school office (and still works in the school system) this card captures the "school's out" feeling perfectly.
