My DD turns 18 in a few weeks and spotted a cool card like this in our LSS. She informed me that she would like a birthday card like that... so I thought I would try it. Thanks to a great tutorial, Tri-Shutter Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers it was much easier than I had anticipated. It did take me awhile though. I didn't decorate every square inch, I thought it was done when I got to this point. Plus I needed some space to write.
I used to read Robert Munsch's book 'I'll Love You Forever' to my girls when they were little, and I ran across this vellum in my stash. I knew it had to go on her 18th birthday card. So fitting. The other verse is both of our favorite Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11 typed on the computer.
The materials all came from my LSS. The card base is very close to Bermuda Bay, the other solid is very close to Razzleberry.
Thank you for looking.

Great card! You just did a wonderful job! The colors and embelishments and thet DP are just beautiful together! It is neat that you and DD have the same favorite verse! Thanks for sharing the card and the verse!

wow you did a great job on the tri-fold shutter card. It is such a cheerful card - your daughter will love it. How fitting that you added the quote from the book and your shared favourite verse (one of my favorite too). Happy 18th birthday to your daughter.
