This week's TLC challenge on SCS is to create a flower without using a flower punch or floral stamp etc. I created a shabby chic flower using twill tape using Jenni Ingerik's tutorial here: http://www.stampwithjenni.com/2010/0...-tutorial.html
This is a popular tutorial and others probably have written the recipe for the technique as well, but I think her step by step instructions are da bomb! Thanks, Jenni. What I like about the technique is that it only takes 5 - 7 inches of ribbon which is great for scraps. Also, you can fray the ribbon as much as you want or just leave in *loops*. Today I was in a shabby chic mood so I used twill which is the best for fraying. More of the recipe for my creation below! THANKS for the challenge, Holly and don't forget to check out the tute!
