Anne Ryan made a great choice for Queen this week! Dorothy (aka etsdas) not only has a huge gallery full of pretty cards, but she always leaves the nicest comments for everyone too, so it's only fitting to honor her with the crown this week! I chose this pretty card to case: silhouette Thinking of You by etsdas at Splitcoaststampers
I love all the embossing and clean lines, so I kept the layout the same, but I made mine monochromatic without a contrasting horizontal panel.
Congratulations Dorothy and I hope you have a fun holiday weekend wearing your crown and celebrating!

In your style exactly, Carol. This is so pretty with those colors and Dorothy's design. You always make the neatest cards. Each one has its own personality yet done in the typical elegant style I know you to have. Fabulous. Hope things are somewhat better for you. You've been on mind, Carol. Wish my daughter still lived in Gilbertsville.

Oh Carol, what a sweet looking card!! All the CB embossing folder layers with such a crisp looking sentiment on that open white area, topped by such a cute butterfly!! Love how you used the gemstones for accents, and then, that great ribbon!
This is a wonderful take on Dorothy's card - she will be delighted to see this displayed in her honor!!
Congrats to Dorothy, who never fails to amaze us with her gorgroous cards!!

You are so sweet to say all those nice things. I appreciate these days so much, and you have helped to make them special. I really like your version of this card - I am going to have more cards to case, I am sure! It is so pretty with the saying as a focal point and the butterfly - lovely colors. Thank you!

You and I did choose the same lovely card!! I love your colors much better than mine. I would only use soft colors and white but then all those other colors of papers would go to waste. So anytime I use anything darker I am really not feeling it! But I must admit the darker colors show up better in photos although I like the soft colors much better in real life, they are so feminine!

Carol, your card is so pretty in this lovely plum pudding. Sweet butterfly and gorgeous ribbon. Clean, crisp, and splendid! Hope you're having a good 4th of July weekend.

Beautiful! I love your Seeing Spots embossed panel and your monochromatic color scheme. Love the purple and white. And you picked an awesome card to CASE. :-)
