I call this Faux Pregamano. It sure is so much easier and faster than doing it the original way!
The best stamps to use are those with very fine lines and open spaces.
It really makes a difference using the drier white ink pad (sweetstamps.com) and the 36# vellum. It doesn't curl.
After stamping, turn it over. Burnishing it with a stylus turns the grayish vellum pure white!
I then added a bow, jewels, and Dazzles stickers.
This technique is so, so easy - and fast!

I love this and certainly am going to try it. I usually do it the hard way but this sounds so easy. Does the embossing flake off when you burnish it on the other side? You sure are organized..working on your Christmas cards so early LOL.

Another beauty from you Willie! I'll have to give this easier method a try once my crafting mojo comes back. I've got lots of pretty colors of vellum, so it will be nice to play and see what I can come up with.
