I had trouble finding inspiration today, but in the end when I came across this helmet cover it made me think of textiles and fibre. And when I found some fibre with the same colours in it, I went from there. I noticed there were more things on the UK site when I switched location - odd. Hope it's OK that my inspiration came from the UK site.
This is my second card, using the first panel I made, trimmed down where I got some sky into my sun.
Base approx 4" high by 6 3/4" wide.
Black layer, pink Bazzill Bling layer.
For the main panel I stamped the tiny birds and masked them and the sun. Then I sponged sunset colours up in bands.
Black grosgrain ribbon and bow added, and a sentiment. DH must be losing his allergy to ribbon - this is my second card this week with ribbon that he has liked. Only this is too pink for him...
Thanks, Stef, for a real challenge today.

Who needs brayering when you can sponge as great as this? I love your ocean scene with those 2 love birds. It's very creative and intuitive ~ perfect for an inspiration challenge.
