Split Coast Stampers' Free for All Friday challenge theme is ice cream. I wasn't planning to make this card because I didn't have any ice cream stamps, but then, as I was making another card, I saw the butterflies. . they are grommets (not like Wallace & Grommet, though!) I put the other project on hold and started work before the inspiration flew off like the butterflies!
To use the butterflies, I bent back the prongs, took a small strip of paper and positioned a large pop-up glue dot and centered the butterfly over the dot. I heated the dot added glitter, heated again and then pressed lightly into the glitter for maximum glitz.
The "cone" is stamped with the chicken wire/diamond stamp from the SU Looks Like Spring set and then sponged.
The "sweet" has been painted with a layer of shimmer white paint, punched with the oval punch, mounted on the scallop oval punch with a dimensional. I used the same punch with chocolate chip, but punched two just lightly larger than half ovals.
The card is quite shimmery-cool in real-life.
