This is one of the cards I made for SU's 2010 Artisan Award contest. I didn't win this year; maybe I'll try again next year.
A few details:
* The green background is supposed to look/feel like a poker table. I pulled apart the layers of cardstock to get the faux-suede look.
* To make the "cards," I first stamped and cut out the King card. Then I traced it onto a piece of DSP that looked like the back of a deck of cards. I used a white gel pen to color a white border around each card.
* For each of the "chips," I punched two 1" circles. Then I punched a 1/2" circle from the middle of one of the large circles. I used a marker to make the lines on the remaining ring and then glued it on the other full circle.
* To make the King card, I stamped the image in navy and red. The navy image was the main card, and I colored in the faces. I cut the diamonds from the red image and glued them in place on the navy card.
* Inside I stamped "Enjoy your day" and glued on a few more chips.
Thanks for looking!
