I did this card the other week for the 'Ways to use it' Challenge WT272 here on SCS of "Paint" and uploaded it to my Blog but clean forgot to upload it here! Duhh! My DD was off school sick so I guess I had other things to think about. Oh well - better late than never! See link for the deets on the Challenge: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
My use of paint is in watercolouring the image with JoSonya Acrylic paints which I water down - one of my favourite ways to colour a card which I don't do often enough. I wet the area I am going to paint, then drop watered down paint into that area with a brush and watch the magic happen as the colour gently spreads. Ahh, I could do it all day - it's so relaxing. Shame, life gets in the way....... :-)
The image was stamped onto 140lb/300gsm watercolour paper. I add some Kindyglitz Crystalina glitter to the rose on the girl's hat, the rose on the poncho, and the bunny's tulip and heart - but you can't tell from the photo :-(
The large flower was diecut with a Marianne Design Creatables LR0109 flower die set. Once I diecut the flower, I ran it thru my Cuttlebug using the Textile embossing folder just to add some texture to the designer paper. The flower is up on a 2mm mount (dimensional).
For the sentiment, I diecut lavender cs with my CB and Spellbinder Scalloped Heart Nestabilities die then punched the white cs with my old Carl CP-2 Heart punch (which I have had forever). The tiny rose heart in the centre of the panel is a leftover punchie from using my EK Success Arrows Border punch - I added some .008 fine Crystal glitter to the heart too.
I think you could use this card for lots of occasions such as birthday, thank-you, friendship etc.
