Congratulations, Connie Jo! What a great gallery. I enjoyed lots of exploring and going back and forth wondering, should I make this one, or should I make that one. Then I saw the Acetate Snowmen located here: Acetate Snowmen by Connie Jo9 at Splitcoaststampers. I havenÂ’t made an acetate card in so long and it was perfect for the stamp I chose.
Now for my “creative” story regarding my stamp:
The rose used to be my favorite flower. In high school, two would-be suitors were competing for my affection. I couldn’t decide which fellow to choose. One decided to tip the scales in his favor by bringing me a bouquet of hand-picked roses from his mother’s garden. (This stamp reminds me of that bouquet.) I was so touched and my heart melted. However, he lost out to the other guy in spite of the roses because the other guy was Italian and I just adored Italian men. But I’ll never forget that sweet gesture or him--or the Italian. Sigh! Young love . . . [Excerpt from my memoirs. LOL. Someday when I am much older, and in the rocking chair at “The Home,” I want to remember and share these tales with the other residents. I may even embellish the part about the Italian.]
Congratulations again, Connie Jo.

Wow!!! This is gorgeous. This is one of my favorite sets. I love the swirls stamped on the acetate too. Thank you so much for making this card in honor of my reign. I have sure enjoyed the remake of my cards into gorgeous creations!!!
Your story is sooooooo sweet. I want to be at the same home as you so I can hear the REST OF THE STORY!!! I think I dated the boy now a man who still steels his mother's roses instead of spending money......that's another story we can share AT THE HOME!!!lol
Thank you for making my day so special.
hugs,

Yep, and I could sure help you embellish it quite a bit. I have a tale of a wild Italian too...Vincent D'Onofrio, no really, we date before he met what's her face! LOL
I love the story and the beautiful roses. The baroques are looking quite elegant in the background too. Now, let's find an Italian guy for Connie. TFS

What a beautiful CASE! Love those swirls on the acetate. Love the story too, but why wait... embellish now - we all want to hear about that Italian suitor of yours. Hope there's lots of stamping supplies at the home... won't we have fun!

Your acetate card is just gorgeous! I love your roses here. Your story was so sweet and tender. So tell me, did you end up with one for life? .....or was there a number three choice? Just wondering. Awesome card and story. TFS :0)

Oh my!! So many suitors!!! Like Peggy- I love Vincent D'ofrino!! I had two suitors at one time too - didn't want to tie myself to one guy! Well - I married one of those suitors nearly 27 years ago - LOL!!! How did he win out? Hmm. I think I had just fallen to hard for him!!
Lovely roses and I love your images on the transparent card!
