Note: That is a glare on the glass! The Photographer said he did that on purpose so that people would know its glass! Yeah right!
This is my story!
1. I started making this 42,000 years ago and just got it finished last weekend! It was a birthday gift for Pat Smethers (late!) I had about 3 months advanced notice to make her something and I was two/three weeks late getting it to her! Go figure!
2. Pat was surprised on her birthday to receive her very own SU Wild Wild West stamp set from a group of friends. Pat's friend Nat purchased the set and we all pitched in. Pat has used Nat's WWW set (keeping it at her house) for a very long time and with Pat moving to Wyoming in the near future, she would be sad to leave it behind! Nat took care of that little dilema by getting Pat her very own set. (In reality, she probably figured Pat would *steal* it and *accidently* take it to Wyoming with her!).
3. I got my SU Wild Wild West set the very same way. It was my friend Shirley (wannabcre8tive)'s idea. She and Pat organized a little birthday surprise for me with about 42 SCS stampers who all chipped in and purchased the set for me in October for my birthday.
4. So, when I got the message from Nat that she was planning this wonderful surprise for Pat, I set out to make something for Pat to keep her beloved WWW set in!
5. Why did I put the word cousin on it? Well you see, I am always bragging about owning "The Man" (Thanks to all of my SCS friends!) and when Pat started bragging about owning *The Man" too, I had to remind her that I have *The Man* and she has his cousin! Snort! That went over like a lead balloon!
6. So, this is the box I made for Pat to put her *Cousin* in keeping him safe and feeling special in his own special place. You know what I mean, instead of living in a clear plastic SU box!
Do not ask me what possessed me to put brown and purple together! Yikes!

OMGosh! You know I was crying! Cindy, this is the most thoughtful gift, and I was so touched by all of the work you put into this 'beyond gorgeous' box! It is a treasure box fer reals!!!! I cannot tell you how many times I have gone over every lil detail you planted on this! The incredible details blow me away! First, the wooden box, yikes...glass panels to protect the MAN (not cousin, Da MAN!) The purple is wonderful - I love it! The sides are so rich, all sponged up purdy, and reminds me of wallpaper. I try to keep my fingers away from that flower and the yummy purple leaves too! I love this MAN combined with blooms! Too, too much! I love every inch, but most of all, I love the heart in this beautiful box.
And I love the hearts that came together to make this happen for me. I am still stunned at the kindness of my sweet, sweet friends. Oh that Nat! She and Bubba laughed at me since January! Every time I'd use her MAN, I'd say, hope this doesn't 'get packed' by accident Nattie! Lol...they knew.... And Cindy, you and I both know how wonderful this is. It's not da Rubbah, it's the hearts of your friends that speak in a gift like this! Thank you so much for being a part of this wonderful surprise!
Hugs-n-Snugs!
Psst.....ya know, mine is really the Twin Brudder of Da MAN! Snort!
