I needed a one-layer card that was quick and simple to make for my daughter's upcoming birthday (these are the invitations). Eleven and twelve year olds aren't fussy, and probably don't even keep these invites when the party's over. Still, I tried to keep it light, whimsical and carefree looking.
I'm not very good at whimsical cards, and am not totally crazy for this card. But my daughter thinks it's pretty, and that's good enough for me.
THanks for looking!

PERFECT!! Oh, this turned out so very nicely, Colleen. You made a great call going with Circle Circus for these invites. The colors are great (perfect for a 12-year-old!) and the flourishes work so well as the butterflies' flight lines. And I have that "Party Time" stamp, too!!! I agree with Haley--so very pretty!! And easy to replicate, I think, which is very important, too
