I've never felt that shabby chic is my style, so this was a challenge, but I'm pretty happy with the end result. Lucky for me I purchased the cream lace during my last trip to our LSS, and thought it would be a good embellishment for this style. The DP is by K and Co., punched with an EK Success border punch and the flowers were stamped with regal rose on PTI--vintage cream. I used the oval Nestabilities to cut it out, adding a ruby red frame and roughed up the edges with the distressing tool.

Well, for shabby chic not being your style, you did pretty well! I love the placement of all the elements, and I like how you really brought the focus in on the Elements of Style stamp with only a small portion of it used. Very nice card!

Wow! This is nice! I think I should have looked at more cards before attempting "shabby chic" since I really didn't know what it was! You did a beautiful job!!

I think you did a wonderful job on your CAS shabby chic look. I think combining CAS and Shabby Chic will be challenging. I am still working on a design in my head! Sue, your card is a real inspiration. I really like your color combo, lace and distressed edges. TFS
