A sympathy card for my son-in-law's Mom, whose father passed away this week. I was going to do an all white card, but the black touch just seemed appropriate.
The card was done from this week's sketch over at www.cardabilities.blogspot.com. I just found this blog, and I am so excited about it. I hope to use these sketches a lot. They are awesome!
The hearts are a Martha Stewart punch.
The flower was made from a scalloped circle punch. I cannot remember where I found the instructions, but you punch them out, stack them together (3 at a time), cut at the notches, put a brad in, and then fluff them.
The scalloped border was cut from the Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
The flourishes were cut from the Storybook Cricut cartridge.
Hope you like it. If you are inspired, please let me know. TFL.
