I like this sketch. It's got clean lines to it, and really draws the focal point front and center. I chose to stamp and color my fave flower, the hydrangea. The pic doesn't show it well, but the Elegant Eggplant layer was run thru the Big Shot with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The ivory strip in the very back was run thru also, with a flourish-y Cuttlebug folder (name I cannot recall).
I staggered my image by stamping it twice and propping one of those up on dimensionals (I don't know what I would do without those dear little things!).

I just love the great effect you got with your linen background stamp on this card, Colleen!! Absolutely stunning! And those colors are so sophisticated, a great combo. Your coloring job on that lovely hydrangea is just lovely. Super job with this sketch

Love your colouring!! I especially love how you shaded the leaves. I also love how you layered the linen and bella toile backgrounds. I have these two stamps and never thought of doing that!
