Finally! A chance to make a card in honour of patsmethers for her Queen for the Day and Featured Stamper titles. Yes, I am behind the times. But her gallery is full of so many wonderful cards that, late or not, I was getting one made. I loved Pat's Cuttled Happiness card and used it as my starting point. Changed the embossing folders, colours and used butterflies instead of flowers.
I used SU Regal Rose ink to colour my ribbon and was surprised how much darker it inked up and unfortunately, the photo makes it look even less matchy-matchy. New embossing folder by Sizzix for the bg.
Punch tally: 4 punches, plus one die-cut (envelope). Had to insert a clip of the inside so the Punch Police don't question my tally. ;-)

Da Dizzy, this is FABULOUS!! Ooooh, I love the one Pat did and yours is darling too!! Darn you, now I want that scallope envie die!!! Will it ever end!! I'm in love with your ef too! And, yes, I'm in great need of those MS butterflies too. I was so close to getting them, but no go! Your card came out beautifully Diz and I'm proud you went to the extra effort to even die your ribbon to match. You are Da Woman, even if you are a little dizzy at times!! LOL! LOVE that hearts ef for your envie too and your punch count is IMPRESSIVE!! No Punchkateer police coming at you today - you made us proud!! YRPH!!!! TFS!

Diz, I bought the ribbon bow punch the other day rather than these beautiful b/fly punches, that's why I don't have the b/flies yet. I thought I could really use that bow punch a lot!! Hugzi!

This is so cute - great layout and sweet sentiment. I so love Pat cards and this is a very sweet case of her card. I can't believe you inked your ribbon - that takes some serious work (did you lose any weight doing it????). Great job.

This is so sweet, Heather. Just makes you want to find a baby and cuddle it.
Pretty ribbon and I really like your die cut envie and sweet sentiment. I know babies are on your mind after seeing those little darlings yesterday. Precious card!

Oh my Dizzi, this is gobsmackingly gorgeous! I love that envelope - such a great design feature! The butterflies and perals are so pretty too. Wow, that's impressive to dye your ribbon - the colour looks so even, I'm so impressed! Phew, close shave there with the Punchez Polize but I think your snapshot of inside the card will be enough evidence to keep you out of jail!

Aw, Heather...done in true style! (late!) Lol, my friends lovingly call me the Slacker! I love this and am so honored that you would help me celebrate this day with your beautiful and touching card. What a treasure! I love your cuttled envie and the sweet note tucked inside. Those lil butterflies seem to be lighting sweet kisses all over your card. Adorable! Thanks so much! Hugs...
