This card, and the other similar one, meets two challenges today:
WT268, to use chipboard
F4A10 Celebrate May Day, to make your own flowers.
I have never used chipboard before, and no offense to the chipboard lovers out there, but I thought they were too much work. I had to cover mine in dp and cardstock, and it just took too much time. I grew impatient.
I used a sentiment from SU's Friendship Blooms, because my chipboard flower and leaves reminded me so much of the stamps in that set.
The dp's used came from one of those awesome $1 Scrap Bags I get from my local SU demo.
Edited 5/5: changed photo to show that I have added Amethyst Glitter by Martha Stewart to center of flower. I felt it needed something extra.

Oh, I love the teensy dots on the purple DP you used for the chipboard blossom!! You can't see them in the thumbnail, but you sure can in your photo. It makes that bloom look so sweet!! This is such a fun card. I love the layout. Super work, Colleen
