I made this for my son's guitar teacher and his wife who had their first baby recently. It's also for the Fan Club theme this month of all things vintage.
I had this sweet baby image from a collection of vintage photos I downloaded some time ago. I haven't really used them before as vintage is so far out of my comfort zone it's way out of sight. I couldn't quite bring myself to distress, but I did add some vintage-style pearls to the corners!
(Punchkateerz punch tally: 4 ticket corners, 2 nesties - but weight gained because of comfort eating due to stress of attempting a vintage style card.)
Thanks so much for dropping by!

Oh Sally! This is so wonderful!!! I absolutely adore Bessie Pease Gutmann images and this is one of my faves. I have a whole collection of cards with her images that, one day, I plan to frame. What a fabulous card you've made. Love the soft frame and the pearls. So perfect! Especially if you say this is out of your comfort zone!

Awh Sally. This takes my breath away. What a beautiful baby graphic and the background is perfect. The pearls add just the right finishing touch. Beautiful my friend.

Oh, I hear you Britzi. Eating out of stress. Just means you need to buy some more punchez!!! LOL!! I LOVE vintage, but I, too, struggle with it. I think you did a fantastic job with this awesome image. LOVE your ticket corner punching, pearls and framing of the image!! Before we know it, you'll be distressing, tearing and sponging - well, maybe not!! LOL!!

Sally, this is the most adorable thing ever...what could be more precious?
I love this 'small wonder'. But, if vintage is going to cause you to eat comfort food, you better stay away and stick to those CAS cards you do so beautifully. LOL Oh, and I love the soft green you used....so sweet.

It's lovely the way it is. I do lots of vintage cards but I don't think this image needed it. Not all vintage is distressed and shabby. I think it looks clean bright and new, just like a baby.
