New York is very close to my heart. I spent my senior year of high school there with my brother, then I spent my college years there as well, and many years working for Morgan Stanley at 1585 Broadway. All together I was in NY approximately 15 years! I'll always have a place in my heart for New York.
In this challenge I decided to use a sticker and an existing sentiment element in my scrapbook box...for a speedy turn around (5 minutes) focusing on the "simple" part of clean and simple (smiles). (This card actually also uses a strip of ribbon too - for the road under the taxi - smiles - can you tell?).
Originally I wanted this to be a "Sorry I Missed You Again" Card (with that sentiment inside) but I couldn't figure out how to incorporate the "Off Duty" sign that needs to be on the top of the taxi. So instead it's a "Wish You Were Here" card since I had that sentiment in my scrapbook supplies.
Enjoy!

What a great card and using the ribbon was a stroke of genius (imho-lol!). I can't tell if it's a silver and black ribbon or if you've woven it through the black cs, but it's very effective however it was done.

LOVE your card! This was one of many thoughts I had, but I did not have a taxi stamp, good for you to use a sticker, I never thought of that! Love the skyline buildings and how perfectly your sentiment fits that space!

You are just SO creative, Audrie! Not only do you come up with fabulous different styles, ranging from CAS to heavily embellished (and you do them all equally well) you have such wonderful ideas too! I love that ribbon road - inspired!
