I have a friend I wanted to make a gift set for. She says I'm slightly too high end with my card set prices...smiles & LOL. She suggested that if use less expensive materials that I would sell more --although prices would be slightly lower. [FYI: I actually enjoy making the really LUXURIOUS cards with Italian Papers, Canvas, Gems etc....but, alas, she had a good point.]
So I created this inexpensive set with her in mind. There are two English Thank You Cards, One French, and One Spanish. These are the size of Stampin' Up's notecards.
I used 12x12 Stampin' Up Kraft paper which is quite a bit less expensive that the kraft papers I usually use. Can you tell the difference - here is the more expensive kraft paper : In the Mood for CAS! - Delight in Life by girlgeek101 at Splitcoaststampers
I also created my own envelope for the English versions and adored them with embossed leaf stamp which matched the Cuttlebug folder good enough for me. For the other two I used white Stampin' Up Notecard Envelopes, each of those adored with a butterfly cut out with the same punch out of the kraft paper to link the envelope with the card. (Envelopes are VERY easy to make - just take one apart and copy it!)
This was so much fun that I'm going to do a YouTube video about it!
Enjoy!

Know what you mean about using only the highest quality available when you are hand crafting things to sell. However, I looked at your link and I think I actually like the SU kraft better. Yes, I am a SU Demo, but I think they use high end products. To someone who doesn't make cards, they probably could not tell the difference anyway, right? Hope your friend is pleased with them. I think they are CAS and yet elegant at the same time. TFS Into my favs.
