This is such a sweet image from the newly released Ferns & Chickadees set from Mark's Finest Papers. I wanted a very natural setting for this little Chickadee. I used Hazel Nut Tan for my base, then Desert Sand cardstock. The image was painted in watercolors. Copper Kettle card stock accents the edges. The focal image was matted against Pensacola Sand that was embossed using the Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls folder. This weekend I tried my first attempt at making paper from left over scraps and office paper. I really liked the texture and the way it added some interest to the design. My sketch design was taken from this week's mojo Monday sketch~

I agree with the above. Your chickadee looks as if he could just fly away. Love him. Your made paper is awesome. This card totally rocks! Love it. TFS :0)
