Finally I have made a new card - in fact several of the same. This is a case of card I saw in a stamping magazine. It really caught my eye in the magazine -and I seem to have a thing for buttons right now, rather than my usual colouring thing! Admittedly it is super CAS!!! Even my DH commented - is it not too plain? Well - I still kinda like it! For reference - the button is about 1 inch in diameter. Yes..... I have button fever! Thanks for looking!

This is definitely CAS and a perfect one at that, Ms Cap'n Canada. I love all that premium kraft paper. Glad you kept it sweet and simple; I'm not sure you'd do well with anything more advanced than this. Great idea to use the twine too. There, I've done my good deed for the day!~ Not that it was easy, mind you. Love your card.

Hope that wrist is strengthening up, Madame Deborah. Making this sweet card in multiples is sure to help!! Those button prints are cute as a "you know what"!!!!! (Rather Obvious!). BTW--my niece is now living in BC and working at BC Children's in respiratory care. We are attending her wedding in Jamaica over the week of April 15 (that will make 3 trips south this winter, but I have a hard time getting warm when we get back to frosty Canada even tho the winter has been fairly mild).

Oh, Debz, this is just the cutest! I am loving buttons now, also. When I was FS, jovialjudi honored me with a PTI button bits card and mailed it to me. It is just darling. Hey, your little bird reminds me of the one on the Valentine card I sent you. Love your twine and pretty paper. You did BIG, Debz. Your dh just doesn't understand about these button cards yet. So glad to see you able to use that wrist (even if it isn't 100% yet) and make a card. Sending hugs to you!

Oh Miss Debz, so glad you finally added a NEW card to your gallery. This is just over the top adorable! I just love when someone uses buttons for their image. Your little purple button birdie is darling. You obviously drew the tail feathers, feet and beak....what an artist you are!!!! Love the twine, after all that is what a birdie would collect for a nest. Your sweet image on the kraft is perfect. I love this card. It's been a long time coming. hehe WOW! Hugs to you and hope your wrist is feeling better everyday. TFS :0)

Debz, the infamous defective detective, has uploaded a card!! It's a good day when that happens. Been really missing your uploads. I think this little button birdie is ADORABLE. And, tell your dh I said so okay. Surely, he'll agree with The Fruitcake/Flake, whatever!!! I LOVE buttons, but for some reason I rarely use them. I have tons of them and think about using them all the time, but don't too much. I wouldn't have thought to make a cute little birdie out of one and you've done that brilliantly I might say. Such a cute and refreshing CAS card. Hey, did you see where I'm on a Design Team now for The VIP Punch Pals, a/k/a The Three Punchkateerz?????? I knew I'd make it big one day. LOL!! Benz has nominated herself Prez. Why, I don't know, but she has and she gave us this name. It's myself, Benz and Isaiah as we're all punchaholics. Hey, maybe we'll put out a challenge for people to do. I just thought it would be funny to add that to my signature line. Oh, well, in The Fruitcake world it is funny anyway. TAKE CARE my little frail friend. Can't wait to have you all 'healed' up Debz!! Hugssssss xxxooo!

Oh Debzi! How exciting to see a new card in your gallery! So good to see you back in the creative mode... Hope that means you're healing.
(Oops - hit submit before I'd finished commenting!!)
Anyway, your wee button bird is stinkin' cute. Can't place him in my Birds of North America book that I keep handy, but that's OK, he's probably in disguise. A spy bird used by the Defective Detective in your sleuthing work. And so cute he's not likely to be questioned when he shows up at events to spy on people.
I see Pammy-Fruitflake has a new siggy line. And Benzi is the self-appointed Prez of Benzi & the Punch Pals. And that gopher in that hole I dug with Dearest Anne has come back to bite me. Go away for a couple of weeks and it all breaks loose. Yeesh! But it's great to see you back creating!!!
