This week's TSC was to use a bit of lace and distress. Well, I used a whole bunch of "distress". This is my second card for this challenge. The first one was UGOLY! I really just used scraps that were in reach and did a little digging to find the lace DP that really didn't show up much when I scanned it. I colored the image that was gifted to my from Sistah Pat Smethers. Punched the image out with an oval scallop punch and then mounted that onto a Light red oval cut with Creative Memories oval maker. I added dots on each scallop with a black marker. I punched one corner with Wrought Iron corner punch and created two long tabs using SU word window punch. I added some bling that I found in the bottom of my brad drawer. Added some chiffon ribbon to two corners and placed a pearl in the upper right corner to use it up as it was the only one left. The sentiment is a rub on from Hobby Lobby discount isle. THEN I remembered I was supposed to add distress so using Tattered Rose, I sponged the edges of the DP to give it an aged victorian look. The image panel was adheared with Glue Dots.

How pretty Tater. Your scanned BG was very clever. The pink, er... I mean Light Red ribbon, bling and touches are so pretty with the yellow sponging and your darling image!.

Tate, Tate, Tate.....it's early here and my first cuppa coffee has not been finished, and my eyes is still a little taard. However, I do detect some wonderful splash of ultra-light red here, and it looks smashing! I love that lil image and you beautiful coloring too. You did really good Phyllis, this is just super girlie with your touches of pearls and the gems. I love your sentiment too, very touching. Beautiful work sis. LYMI
