Stef and Anemone gave us a REAL challenge this week to be inspired by one of the figure skater's costumes from the Olympics.
I was inspired by Marai Nagasu of the USA. I thought her skating and dress in the Ladies' Finals were exceptional. The butterfly...since she reminded me of a flitting butterfly on the ice. A little sparkle too...since all costumes seems to have a little bling.
I had the opportunity to take a class with Michelle Zindorf today at a local stamp shop. It was GREAT! So I had to try my new technique......keep in mind I am a newbie at her brayering technique and have a LONG way to go! : )

You really rocked this challenge! The colors, the gorgeous shades of red and black with hint of sparkle...the concept of the butterfly...marvelous inspiration interpretation!
