This is the card that I made for today's brand new challenge - Free for All. Unfortunately I am in need of a sympathy card to send to a cousin who recently lost her Mom. The first time I looked at the Stampin' Up color palette I was drawn to Earth Elements but for some reason I have never used any of them except the browns and old olive. So for today's challenge I thought I would use my least favorite of the lot - more mustard and paired it with not quite navy (another color I have not used before). Surprisingly I think it turned out quite pretty. I stamped 3 of the elegant ornament patterns in more mustard and then covered them with versamark and ultra thick ep. After creating the glassy finish I cut them out and triple mounted them. This was then mounted on a piece of dp. The sentiment was cut out using the cricut. I used part of a cuttlebug embossed border for the corner and added some gems. Thanks for the interesting new challenge and thanks for looking.

I think it's a great colour combination and a really lovely sympathy card - elegant but not too fussy. I bet with the UTEE that those panels look even better IRL.

Those are some beautiful images and I do use a lot of night of navy. Don't think I've used the mustard but this turned out really pretty. Nicely embossed and a lovely sympathy card.

This is stunning. Your more mustard and not quite navy combo is truly wonderful. I love your embossing work, too. This challenge gave you an elegant sympathy card. I'm sure it will bring much-needed comfort to your cousin.
